Some High Class, And A Little Hooch
Alright I have to start off by saying that the veganism did not stick. More and more I found myself disagreeing with the vegan ideology. And so I hit it and quit it.
Last weekend at The Water Grill was simply amazing!! For appetizers we had two different kind of oysters, and both were delicious! I didn’t really have a preference… they were just good! (I tried remember what kind of oysters they were but it’s been a while, it’s almost 3 in the morning and I can barely type…) And the bread was perfectttt. I could just like live off of bread, that’s how much I love it, so even though it may seem insignificant it’s very important to me to like my bread. Kay, and then for my first course I had White Chowder with Manila Clams, Weiser Farm Potatoes, and Niman Ranch Applewood Smoked Bacon. Deeeelicious! It was so creamy and flavorful; I loved it. Then for a main course I had Roasted Free Range Jidori Chicken Breast. Gooood stuff! And very seafood/meat oriented. If I was there at a really nice restaurant I might as well have enjoyed… hahaha.
Wicked was so entertaining and I really loved it. We sat in the orchestra section, near the stage, but not too close that you can’t see well. It was perfect! Oh goodness, I loved the songs and the storyline. (: Galinda was definitely my favorite just because she was so DARN cuuuute. For those that haven’t heard of Wicked, it was a musical playing at the Pantages theatre for quite a while, and it’s about the “Wicked Witch of the West” from The Wizard of Oz. It was the nicest thing and I’m so appreciative that I was able to go!
Anyway, I am back at my apartment in Santa Barbara by my college campus and let me tell you… even though I only have classes on two days of the week the days are jam-packed with reading and homework. It’s really very stressful… but at least I have four-day weekends to sort of catch up on reading I’m not able to complete during the week. But for sure I am ON IT with the reading… The stuff is really interesting. I’ll write an entire post on my classes soon though since I looove them so freaking much. (:
Alright tonight (or since it’s 3am, last night) my friends and I went to a semi-formal queer party at The Hub, on campus. I loooooved it! Sandy and I danced most of the time but other times I just mingled and danced with some queer boys or lesbians… lol. All I have to say is that a queer boy totally grabbed my vagina while we were dancing hahahaha… (*cough*SKYLAR*cough*). I totally know him… and geeeez he got a little too wild lmao… boy goes down all the way to the fucking floor. Hahaha. And then I danced with a tooon of other gay guys and some girls… including one girl named Carmen (the cutest Asian girl with a boy haircut), who took it upon herself to kiss me. lol. What a darn cutie. But blah… then I found out she’s slept with a friend of mine and then I was like UGH oh hell no. But anyway, besides that it was just so amazingly fun. I totally freak danced, which was a total first for me. It felt like everyone on the dance floor was just sexing it up with clothes on. xD But it was fun regardless so who cares! Ahhhh but I know I am going to be ridiculously sore later today… boooo. -_-;
Anyway, fun times!!!!! (: Ahhh and I went shopping yesterday, too. UGHHH I have a serious shopping addiction. It needs to be fixed, or I need to learn some self-control. Lol… ay.
Goodnight!!!!!!

Wicked/Lovely
Since Tuesday I’ve been a supposed vegan, until the end of January. I first watched some video about Veganism mid-December and since then was itching to get back to the apartment to do the whole vegan thing. And Rony, my vegetarian roommate decided to go along and do it with me. Alright so we got back to school and did all this shopping at Albertson’s and Trader Joe’s… and then I realized just how much of my food I was going to have to give up. It didn’t really strike me that fruit snacks have gelatin, or that all my favorite cereals have honey (Honey Comb, Honey Smacks, and Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds). I mean, up until Tuesday I had always proclaimed my dislike for honey… and in fact I don’t put honey in my tea or add it on to any foods. And then… bagels, my other favorite food, of course uses cream cheese. That’s made from milk. And so is butter. Slowly, but surely all my food options were running out! I panicked. Okay, I’m not saying my life revolves around food or anything, but let’s be real, I need that to liiiiive.
Luckily, I ran out of Honey Comb so that was out of the question anyway, and my Honey Smacks was stale. I bought a lot of fruit, and rekindled my passion for oatmeal. Ooh yumm, I can even have oatmeal without any brown sugar. I just love oatmeal. But anyway, okay… I found other options including hummus and pita for dinner. Wheat bread is okay, too. Bread is alright so long as it’s not made with eggs. There were options and I wasn’t dying. I even cooked rice and beans for dinner one night (wow that’s really brown hahaha).
But now, I’ve come home and there was (surprisingly) a box of Honey Comb here. Okay there’s never any food here (well there is now because we hired a cook, but anyway!) and my fave cereal suddenly appears. So I CAVED and had some Honey Comb for breakfast. And again, surprisingly, there was Silk Vanilla soymilk in fridge. So I mean part vegan, part vegetarian? There was also a lot of beef and rice left over from yesterday that the cook made, but I’m not touching that. And then (since the cook is not here on Fridays [blast!]) my mom decides to order pizza. She, but a few minutes prior, YELLED at me for even being vegetarian (she’s a carnivore) so I couldn’t bring myself to tell her I can’t even have cheese. So I caved in again and had pizza for lunch.
And now I just got an email from my Aunt Elvia about the plans to go see Wicked tomorrow. We’re having dinner at The Water Grill. They have nothing but seafood there. Trust me, I know because I’ve been there before. 1) I’m not eating meat at all until the end of January (even if I cheat with dairy, eggs, or honey sometimes) 2) I hate seafood. It’s looking like one big hassle, but my family has this tendency of getting upset real quick like so I’m not going to bring it up and just order a salad… ugh. I hate seafood, but my mother looooves it and I have a feeling that’s why we’re going there. My mother is the oldest and my Aunt Elvia, the one inviting us, is the second oldest so she’s always thinking about my mother (who is a big complainer if there is no meat or seafood). AGHHHH.Anyway, I got my bags from Lulus.com heyyyy! They are totez cute~ I’ll take some pics and post them, if I remember… I always seem to forget to post photos for my blog. FAIL. -_-; The stuff from Asos.com BARELY shipped! They take a really long time to process orders, apparently. Maybe that’s from the amount of orders they get since they seem to be really popular?
Anyway, lesson learned: Food I love and miss will still be there at the end of January. There is no need to panic. *sigh*

A Little Late
So I’m certainly a little late in saying it on my blog, but Happy New Year to you all!
Definitely a lot has happened since I last blogged. And I’ve also done some shopping since then, too.
At Guess, for 50% off I got Felidia ankle boots, in black. They’re sort of angled really awkwardly so I don’t suggest walking anywhere in these. If you’re going to walk a few steps and then sit down and look pretty, these are the shoes for you! Of course I wear a size 5 so wearing heels is harder for me than it is for Tyra Banks and her size 11 feet. They sure do look fierce though! 3.5 inch heels.
A new favorite online store of mine, Lulus.com, has some fabulous purses and really cute clothing! I fell in love with two handbags immediately, but to get free shipping I needed to spend a little bit more so I also got this dress called the “Dinner and a Movie Mini Dress”. Being as short as I am (5 ft) I seriously doubt the dress will look that short on me. I love V-neck and square cut tops/dresses and this just seems perfect!

This item is no longer available! ($21.50)
Flying Solo Handbag in Ash Grey ($35.00)
Stephanie Cable Knitted Sweater Bag in Cream ($39.50) This item is no longer available! It seems Lulus only stocks a relatively small quantity of an item and then they replace it with newer items all the time so if you see something you like I suggest buy it as soon as possible! (:
Then as I was looking around online I also stumbled across Asos.com, which is definitely a bit pricier, but still really amazing! They’re based in the UK so shipping takes a while but their selection is really great! You can always look around to see what’s on sale (which is what I did!)

ASOS Twist Lock Mary Jane Shoes ($36.71)
ASOS Satin Pleated Peep Toe Platform Shoe ($15.00)
ASOS ‘Velvet Feel’ 80 Denier Opaque Black Tights ($7.35) Tights are really in right now, to wear with dresses, shorts, skirts! I can’t wait to wear them… I’m sure I’ll feel warmer, too! I want to try these on with my wardrobe first before I go buying bright colors.
ASOS PETITE Sweat Dress ($36.71) I just thought this was the cutest thing!! I am really excited to wear this (with my new black tights, too~)To update on the Kira Plastinina things I ordered… the shoes, which only come in half sizes was labeled 5.5 but ugh… they fit more like a 6 or even a 6.5 and so I gave them to my aunt. So perhaps order a size smaller if you want to get her shoes but despite them being too big they were the CUTEST most comfy 4 inch high heeled shoes everrr~
I’ve also done some shopping at Forever 21 and American Eagle recently but it’s too much to look online and get all the items here. I’ve already gone picture crazy!!
My family celebrated on New Year’s Eve by waiting until midnight and then we all watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (thanks to “TomFlix”) and unfortunately we didn’t know it was nearly 3 hrs long! But we endured until about 4am to watch. Oh and my Aunt Elvia gave us all money, too! (: I got $1000~! Haaay! But I have to save it for rent money… ugh, what a drag.
Then when we woke up on the 1st my mother, brother, aunt, and I went to Las Vegas! So we spent our New Year celebrating there and we stayed until Saturday morning, by which time we had to go back to celebrate my little cousin’s 12th birthday. (:
On Sunday, Sandy and I got back to Santa Barbara. School starts tomorrow technically, but I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays!!! (: Yay for the bomb schedule!!! And lol… I’m going back on Thursday night because I’ll be going to see Wicked on Saturday. Ahhh traveling is so hectic and not fun.
Oh yes…! And I surpassed my goal of watching 150 Movies in 2008 by watching 179 movies! It was part of a challenge at Pour-soi.net and I got this nice little gift:

I’m thinking of doing the challenge again this year and also the 12 books in 2009 challenge. I’m very dedicated to reading right now so I’m going to take that motivation and run with it!!! ^_^ My goals for tomorrow are to finish reading Eclipse and purchase all my school textbooks for Winter Quarter.
2 am?! Goodnight all!

Rocky Horror Picture Show and Some Trannys!
Okay so Saturday night/Sunday morning at midnight there was a midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show in San Pedro. It was some LO’ RENT area not gonna lie… but it was bomb anyway and the theatre was nice!!!!! Sandy, David, Piale, and I went shopping for outfits to wear (the theme was lingerie)… but we kept it G-Rated… more like PG hahaha. We put a little kick in our outfits~ hahaha I wore hella GLITTER, a dark shadow with cat eye liner, black tights, and a leotard!!! Hahaha… There will be hella pics come tomorrow!! (: Haha
For those that have never seen Rocky Horror Picture Show, it’s this cult classic movie from the 70s about transvestites… sort of hahaha. It’s more than that, but either way there is singing, hella glitz, and it’s just amazing! We went and there were people performing it on stage while the movie ran and the audience yelled out all these lines that aren’t really in the movie… but yet everyone knows them. It’s so hard to explain! My outfit:

Outfit from American Apparel, Shoes from GuessGroup pics and pics at the theatre coming tomorrow. (: This was just afterward, after we had eaten at Denny’s. I got home at 5 am and my family was all still awake, just having gotten out of the jacuzzi. It was a little intense!!! Hahaha…
I love my makeup and my hot tranny mess hair!!
Those boots, which I got 50% off at Guess at The Citadel have some way high heels. I should probably measure it, but all I know is I was a regular sized woman in them! Lol… I’m only 5 ft so high heels are a must!Speaking of high heels I ordered Kira Plastinina shoes today from her website… they were 75% off for the holidays. In fact, all her stuff is on sale right now! I got a tank for $5, the shoes for $22, and some pants for $17! (Original prices: $20, $88, $68) I’ve heard her shoes are amazing so I just had to get some. I only realized afterward that I don’t know the length of her pants… so they may not fit me. -_-; But they were cheap so I’ll just have to wait and see what happens when I get them. Hell, they may not even FIT me! Haha…

Things are running out waaaay quick!! So if you want to give her a try, might as well buy it now while it’s all 75% off. Btw, for those that haven’t heard of Kira Plastinina, she is the youngest ever fashion designer. She is currently only 16 and is already a pretty big deal in the fashion industry. (:
I’m sort of eager to go to one of her stores in SoCal. She has a lot in the LA area… yay~~ There’s one at the Beverly Center and I really want to go check it out!
Happy holidays everyone!! ^_^ Sorry I haven’t been keeping up on commenting on your blogs… the holiday season keeps me so busy! I’ll be getting to you all soon, promise!!
